AI and agent security litigation is a new category. Very few expert witnesses have hands-on operating experience in it yet, which means the early opinions in this space are being set right now by whoever actually has the depth to give them.
Background
I owned AI governance for IT and security at a fast-scaling Web3 company
As Lead, Security Operations & IT at Polygon Labs, I owned AI governance for IT and security, authoring the company's first AI Agent Security Policy, aligned to the OWASP LLM and Agentic Top 10, and governing the enterprise AI footprint across roughly 200 users. That work was scoped to IT and security governance, not company-wide AI strategy, and it gave me a close, operational view of how AI and agent deployments actually fail. Since then, I've published the MCP Scorecard, an open, tool-verifiable security scorecard for AI agent (MCP) servers, and the MCP Server Security Policy, a scored acceptance standard for evaluating MCP servers before connecting them to an agent, along with original research on the state of MCP ecosystem security.

Where this category stands
An honest note on case volume
AI and agent security is a new litigation category, and industry-wide case volume in it is still low across the field. What I bring is direct operating depth: I built and ran the AI governance program for a company's IT and security function, and I publish original research on AI agent security.
